Joseph Mallord William Turner

Joseph Mallord William Turner was born today in 1775.
I was impressed to see romantic pictures of Turner in my youth.
I watched a collection of pictures for the study of the oil painting and copied his "wrecked ship", and I titled it "Turner stared at that". It was about 24 years old.

I adored the picture which captured the essence of the lives such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Goya, Rembrandt, and Turner im my youth.

今日はターナーの誕生日だ。この絵は24歳頃模写した。題して｢ターナーは見た」。ダヴィンチ、ミケランジェロ、ゴヤ、レンブラント、ターナーなど、人生の本質を見つめた絵に心酔したものだ。
