This year too, the "Sesshū International Art Association Exhibition" will be held until December 20th. My work was exhibited, but I can't go to the venue to avoid getting the coronavirus.
There is a legend when the epidemic broke out in 856. That is, the gods "Ōnamuchi-no-Mikoto | 大己貴命" (the god who builds the nations) and "Sukunabikona-no-Mikoto | 少彦名命" (the god of medicine) have returned to the rocks of the coast of "Ōarai" to heal their illness.
Therefore, the torii gate of "Ōarai-Isosaki Shrine | 大洗磯前神社" was set up. I also pray that the gods who appeared in the rough seas will cure the plague..
今年も"雪舟国際美術協会展"が12月20日まで開催されています。私も出品して展示されていますが、残念ながらコロナウィルスを避けるため出席できません。
856年に疫病が流行した時、大己貴命(国産みの神)と少名彦命(医薬の神)が衆生救済の為、大洗海岸の巌に再び降臨されました。
そこで、海中の巌に大洗磯前神社の鳥居が建立されました。
荒波に現れた神々が疫病を治してくださることを祈っております。
